Starring Jai, Anjali, Ananya and Sharvanand, it is produced by A.r murugados in association with Fox Studios marking the studio's entry into Tamil cinema. Engeyum Eppodhum illustrates two love stories—one set against the backdrop of Chennai and the other in Tiruchi—which join together in the climax Other language film industries ,(Especially Malayalam) have many more to study from such Tamil movies.It is not a Big budget film ,but it is completely a entertainer and it's theme is very valuable.

The accident scene is really super and have perfection in each shot , it is the main plus point of the film ,It will help the viewers to think about the same incident in our life , because the shots will touch us that much . The Malayalam movie makers must learn from that film.
The films introduce a father to us , who is returning from Dubai to his native after 5 years to meet his family ,Especially his 5 year old daughter , She want to see him every day before sleep and father tell her that "he is coming today" and she go to sleep , On the final day he is actually on the way to home and she wont believe ,So he gave phone to co-passenger and he made believe in her that his dad is coming. But the dad died on that accident and the co-passenger madly cry when the daughter call him on phone , when her dad is no more . This scene make the viewers sad a lot ........Each scene is better than other :)
